Bassetlaw & District Cricket League

The Bassetlaw & District Cricket League

The 2012 season is now underway and the league has now implemented electronic player registration. Full details on how to register your players are now available from league registrars Tom Munro and Michael Carlisle, and help with using Play-Cricket's admin functions is available from league statistician Jack Tarr.

Captains are required to ring 01773 541977 or e-mail cricket@the-entertainer.biz with the summary result of all games before 10am the following morning (11pm the same night on Bank Holidays).

You should state division, total score and wickets lost of the team batting first, plus players scoring more than 30 runs or taking more than three wickets, total score and wickets lost of the team batting second, plus players scoring more than 30 runs or taking more than three wickets. Finally you should state the points awarded to each team.

Green result sheets should be posted to Jack Tarr (League Statistician) using the address printed on the back of the sheet, by first class post as soon as possible after the match.

75% of all Bassetlaw League teams are now completing their own scorecards on Play-Cricket - is your team one of them? The process takes no more than 10-15 minutes per match and help on how to do it is available from the league.

Finally, if you play in the Bassetlaw League then why not register as a member of this site as well?

Good luck for 2012.
